I don't know how to add another user at my windows
login. I'm having a guest for a while and I don't want
him to access my files or email. I've configure my dsl
to logon onto the internet at yahoo for his ease. But I
want my files protected. How can I add another user?
Secondly, my logon is "owner" - how can I change it to my
name?

You must have a computer administrator account on the computer to add a new
user to the computer.

Open User Accounts in Control Panel.
Click Create a new account.
Type a name for the new user account, and then click Next.
Click Computer administrator or Limited, depending on the type of account
you want to assign to the new user, and then click Create Account.

Be wary about changing names of users. Not recommended.
