This is the first computer I build in a very long time and I am already having problems with it. Everything worked fine originally. The computer booted up and I installed Windows 7 and all motherboard and video card drivers, but now I press the power button and nothing happens; not even the system fans start.
Such is my system:

Asus Rampage Extreme 3 board
Corsair HX1050 PSU
Intel core i7 Extreme
16 GB 2133 RAM (4 chips)
NVidia GeForce GTX 480 1.5 GB DDR5

Please help.

If nothing happens when you press the power button, you have a major hardware (or user) malfunction.

Check if your PSU is still functioning by removing everything it's attached to. Connect it to an outlet at the back, and then short the green pin with any black pin on the 24-pin connector. If the PSU fan starts spinning, it's likely okay. You can measure the voltage output on it if you like.

If your PSU starts there's some other component preventing startup. Remove everything but one stick of memory and whatever is necessary for the machine to output video. Clear the machine's CMOS, and then see if she boots up.
