Which one would you pick? The Asus ROG has been used for 1 year and doesnt have a warranty anymore, but it is sold at almost half the price (the same price as the brand new z77-V LK)

By the way here are my PC Specs:

Intel Core i3-2100
Palit GTX 650 Ti
G.skill Ripjaws X 4x2gb
FSP Epsilon 600w 80+
Cooler Master K380
Deep Cool Ice Blade Pro

Thanks :D

While the MIIIF is an awesome board. It won't work with the processor you have listed...

It is a P55 Board, based on Intel socket 1156 for First Gen I-Series CPU's

The CPU you have listed (as well as all new Ivy Bridge CPU's) is designed to work with P67/Z68 or the newer Z77.

As nice as the MIIIF is, I would choose the P8Z77-V, since it will work with your current CPU, as well as allow for CPU upgrades in the future.

The Asus P8Z77-V LK is alright. not the best motherboard in the world for the price... I kind of wish I got the Asrock extreme4 since it's got better power phases for the cpu... my friend can overclock his cpu to like 4.3+ where I maxed out at 4.2ish... and we both got the same cooler...

That can also be your CPU. Not all CPU's can hit the same speeds. Some OC like crap and you can only get an extra 200MHZ and some can go 1.5ghz over.

Well, looks like the Z77-V LK is the clear choice for me, as I don't wanna spend more money on getting a newer processor. Thanks guys :)
