Hello,
My Motherboard is D915GAV with 1.5 GB and two available slots
I purchased DDR-PC 3200 2X1GB 184pin it says itis backwards compatible with the DDR-PC 2700

When I install the new ram my computer will not start? any ideas?

Did you remove the old sticks? 2 available slots meaning 4 total? I know that for my mobo, all stacks of RAM must be the same size, and if you only use 2/4 they must be in slots A and C or B and D.

There are 4 slots total, in A slot i have 512MB and in C slot I have 1 GB, no I did not remove the old ones, I just tried the new one in slots B & D. they are all the same size.
