HELP!

I have a very stable running athlon 900 on an asus A7V board, I have the 1005c bios, and latest drivers for everything else. I am using an ASUS V7700 deluxe Gts 32ddr and am having some issues in just certain games, when I am playing quake 3 it is rock solid, unreal tournement its rock solid, have also had good results with nhl 2001. but if i load up and play Gunman Chronicles its only a matter of time before a complete system lock. only thing to do is reboot. I have tried using the latest detinator 3 drivers, and also the drivers that came with the card. both result in the exact same hault in the same game. I have also had one hang like that in the game soldier of fortune, I have direct x 8 installed. Would someone please tell me what i am doing wrong of what combo of things might be causing this.

The system runs beautifull in windows and every other application, and even certain games. so it just pisses me off that those few games freeze like that and i want to fix it.

If you Overclock an Intel Processor fast enough, it will turn into an AMD. True Story.
