I just got done building a PC, i double checked all the connections, and made sure everything was seated properly before turning it on the first time.
and Success! everything booted up fine.
But... the next morning i turn it on and i get 8 beeps and no display.
Turned it off, thought it was the ram, so i took out one stick of ram and the machine booted up fine. I even confirmed by putting the other ram in and it beeped again.
THEN, THE NEXT morning, the pc started to beep 8 times yet again, with the one working ram from the day before.
So my big question is, was it a coincidence ? or is it even my ram at all? and should i RMA the ram and risk putting the new ram in?
Anyone know the issue?
