Looking for help with Moto V600 BT with Sony Clie

I was wondering if anyone out there has solved the problem sync'n the V600
with the Sony Clie.

My clie worked perfectly with my nokia 6310i.
However when I changed phones. Promises from Motorola have not come true. In
fact it is rumoured that
the V600 is to be discontinued.

I am getting any error "data corrupted" when communicating. And my SMS
software takes forever
to spit out an error that the device cannot be found.
I get all this while the PDA sees and is paired with the phone.
