This PC will exist mainly to record from the component output of my cable box, and burn the resultant video files to a disc playable by a PS3. The files will mostly be for pretty short programs, and as a result can be burnt just as video files on a DVD. No need for a blu ray burner. The most important qualities for the build, aside from being able to do the job, are being cheap, and being small enough to fit in an entertainment center meant for standard AV components (so no tower cases).
