Core i5 750 and AMD 7 Series gpu bottlenecks?? Tags: CPUs GPUs Bottleneck Intel i5 Core Last response: February 8, 2012 11:20 AM in CPUs Share santiago7245 February 8, 2012 9:24:21 AM I am currently using a socket 1156 with an overclocked Core i5 750 at 3.2ghz, 4gb ddr3 1600, and a ATI 5870. This system has been very good to me at running my fps at 1920x1080, but I am wondering if I will see any cpu/gpu bottlenecks with a next gen 7 series gpu, snd my current cpu? While I could wait for Ivy Bridge, I would like to squeeze another year out of this system if possible. So will my older CPU bottleneck a next gen 7 series AMD GPU? You shouldn't have much problems running even a GTX580 or 7970. Can't find your answer ? Ask !
