Is is a good build?

I'm going to build a computer for the first time, in about 2 weeks or so.
I'll be using it for playing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Are all the parts good? And are they all compatible and everything?

More about good build
  1. Looks pretty good, 6850 should be able to run it at max heard a rumor that a GTX 460 will be able to as well. The 6850 is a little better than the 460. PSU has good amount of solid reviews as well. I would knock down the 1TB to a 500GB and put it towards a slightly better GPU IMO.
  2. You might want to get the HDD at amazon it is a whole lot cheaper than newegg. A 500gb seagate is only $88 there and you might be able to squeeze a 6870 which is the best bang for buck GPU right now and it is better than the 6870.
  3. go with intel
  4. Get a 6870.
  5. Both of those PSUs are too expensive. The current cost of the build right now is probably the maximum cost I'll get parts for (mainly due to the hard drive shortage), I don't want to stretch the budget more than it already is.
  6. Well u don't want to cheap out on psu
  7. The PSU you suggested are too OP. A single 500w is good enough.
