Gtx 570 and Gtx 580 questions

I am about to build my first gaming pc and i wanted to know if i should get a GTX 570 with an SSD now or get an GTX 580 and get an SSD in a couple of months when I save enough money. I am noob to this kind of stuff and i'm wondering if the performance difference between the 2 GPU's is significant enough for the price. The PC that i plan to build would be mainly for gaming(Battlefield 3) and media(HD movies and music).
