Help my monitor won't show anything when connected to my graphics card!!

Hello, I just built my new PC and I connected my graphics card display to my monitor and my TV to double check and it won't show anything. And by anything I mean it only shows no input signal. I am using DVI and my specs are:

intel i7 2600k
Asus p8p67 deluxe
HIs radeon 6850
ACER g235h monitor
8gb vengeance memory
tx750 psu
1tb hard drive
64gb ssd

Have you connected the PSU to the GPU's PCIe Power input?
