Nzxt phantom and xigmatec fans

ultimately the fans on the case i belive are too big to plug directly into the mobo, if i buy some xigmatec xlf fans will they be the right type to plug into my cases fan control?

most people plug fans into a 12 volt molex connector . But if they have the smaller 4 pin PWM connector they are meant to be plugged in to the mb headers

i want to connect them into my phantoms fan control, but the fan control uses a rather larger looking 2 pin version of what you would see plugged into a mobo. i havent spent much time trying to learn about it or what it is called, so that might be why im having so much trouble trying to see if it will work
