I need to build a network for an Architects office,
Personal who, require computers and networking. 2 Architects, 1 Surveyor, 1 Engineer and 1 secretary/bookkeeper.
This is in a modern building with – open plan office for the architects, surveyor and engineer, with 2 offices sited at the rear of the building, first for Secretary/ bookkeeper, and the other a board room.
The architects, surveyor and engineer would need access to the same software and files and the Secretary/ bookkeeper would need access to the network for invoicing worked hours.
With access to printer/ scanner and other specialised equipment such as Plotters, Graphics Tables etc?
All staff need, access to the Internet and a phone line.
The Proposal should include a specification for
• Computers
• Computer peripherals
• Networking hardware and software
• General Software
• Maintenance Programme
• Budget must be realistic
The Specification for the computers must be based on the needs of the individual. With access to, shared equipment and monitors via the Network.

I'd love to help but I'm afraid your description isn't concise enough to build a network around.

What software do the engineers and architects need?
CAD? Solidworks? AutoDesk?

Do you have a schematic of the building? A good network engineer knows the layout of the building before he starts planning.

Are they going to need any other servers? Say a web server, domain server or mail server?

What's the budget? I can work without one but it's best to have a ballpark to start.

What kind of printers/scanners are we talking about? Standard desktop hardware or specialized equipment?
