I have LinkSys DSL Router, directly connected to DSL modem. The problem is that i`m on dynamic IP and cant manualy set the IP, mask etc. in addition the default gateway is not directrly reachable, in other words if my modem IP is 222.34.54.56 I must set 222.34.54.1 for gateway instead of just same IP. So when I set "obtain IP automaticly" I dont get the proper gateway. Is there any way to solve it.

Reset your router.

Go into your router, select the PPTP protocol, put in your username/password.

Plug in your router. If I remember, that's all you need to do to make your router work with DSL.
It'll hand out a DHCP range of 192.169.1.x and you're done.
