Windows shows XFX Radeon HD 5770 as DirectX 10 rather DirectX 11

Hello,

I have been trying to figure this out since I've noticed that windows 7 is showing that my XFX Radeon HD 5770 graphics card is DirectX 10 when it should be DirectX 11. Can anyone help me with how to change this to DirectX 11 so it will run that way? Or is this just a technical windows 7 error and the GPU is running as DirectX11?

Please help me with this because I have heard that DirectX 10 is not as good as 11 or 9. I received the GPU from CompUSA and have searched a lot of other places and it shows that it is supposed to be DirectX 11.

If the game is DX11, and you choose DX11, it runs in DX11.

Look within GPU-Z, it shall indicate that it is a DirectX 11 hardware.
