Can i run hd 6850?

can i run hd 6850?
with my
e5500 intel,
ddr3 1333 4gb ram
one dvd writer
one pci tv tuner card
250 gb hdd sata.
psu corsair cx430 v2
now running hd4850 512mb

  1. Two issues I found.

    1) The CPU may cause a bottleneck, and will be the weak link in your system.

    2) The PSU is also on the smaller end of the scale, however I believe you should be able to get away with it.

  3. AND MY MOTHER BOARD IS G41MT-S2P CAN I RUN HD 6850 IN THIS PCI EX SLOT? AND WHICH PCI EX VER IS WITH MY MOTHER BOARD? THANKS IN ADVANCE....
  4. PCI-E 1.0 i believe. PCI-E slots are backwards compatible if your mobo supports 2.0 and yours does i think. Btw what os do you have ?

    dw i have more or less the same build and it works a charm no decreases in performance or anything so dont worry :D

    i have 6850 on pci x16
    and i also upgraded my psu to a coolermaster gx 550

    yes but you carnt run in crossfire or sli
