RAM Config's?

Alright I have two questions:

1) Is it better to have 2x2GB RAM sticks in dual channel or just 1x4GB stick

2) I cannot decide between a Corsair XMS3 DDR3-1600 CL9 RAM or Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3-1600 CL10

2 x2 runs in dual channel and is faster . Read the mb manual about which slots to use . Often they are color coded

CL9 is faster . Make sure the voltage is appropriate for your processor

kk, is it recomended that I use a 4GB now if I plan to upgrade to 8 later?
