When you install a new graphic card you always have to do these steps for it to work properly:

- Do download the latest nvidia graphic driver:

for Windows XP 32bit:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp-280.26-whql-driver.h...

for Windows 7 32bit:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7-winvista-32bit-280.26...

for Windows 7 64bit:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7-winvista-64bit-280.26...

- Then install it and carefully tick the box "Do a clean install". It will remove old drivers and install the new one.

- Reboot.

- If you want to use SLI, then you need to activate SLI in the NVIDIA control panel. Reboot.

Voilà! It shall work as intented. ^^

Update, installed the newest beta drivers and of course it crashed but now it tells me that the error relates to the following files:
C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Temp\WERD96D.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml
C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Temp\WERF1ED.tmp.appcompat.txt
C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Temp\WERF400.tmp.mdmp

Any idea what this means??

Thank you Sir! This fixed the NVIDIA control panel crashing problem for me! I also upgraded GPU's and performing the clean install with latest drivers = win for the crashing problem. Just select custom install instead of express and click the little box for clean install and enjoy no more crashing. :)  Thanks again!!!
