Hello,
Intuit's Quickbooks requires a minimum 2.0 ghz processor with 2.4 recommended. I am not a tech person. What CPU should I buy given modest financial means?

Any new computer will run Quickbooks. As it only requires a single core 2.0Ghz processor and 1GB of RAM any desktop or laptop made since around 2006 should be able to run it fine. It should even run on a netbook.

The above mentioned processor is great but it's not something that is necessary to run the program.
