ok so, My brother got the leaked verison of windows 8 <--dumb.And we wanted to get windows 7 back so we reinstalled windows 7 and when it started up its said "operating system failed".................PLZZZZZZZZ HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you talking about the Windows 8 Developer Preview download?
It's not a 'leaked' copy. Or did you grab something different?
The reason I ask is a 'bootleg something interesting' (like a Win8 beta) is a favorite way to spread malware such as a rootkit or trojan.

How did you go about re-installing Windows 7?

um it was the preview and we bootleged it and now when we try to get window 7 it will just keep saying operating system failed.We used the setup disc and tht wont work.got any clue what to do?

I'm not quite sure how you bootleg a download that's open and free to anyone.

-> Try a Custom (advanced) install and format the hard disk before installation.

im not sure why he even got it i didnt like it. custom install is on windows 7 setup right?
