Hi! I'm new to the community and would like to greet everyone with what I'm working with here. I'm open to suggestions and would like to hear what anyone has to say about my build. As of this upcoming weekend, I will be playing BF3 and Skyrim on my new:

NZXT Lexa S Case (truly a sexy looking case)
Cooling: 2 120mm, 2 140mm and Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid Cooler
Proc: AMD Phenom II x4 980 BE
MB: GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD5 AMD 900 Series
RAM: 8gb of Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9 Vengeance 8GB PC15000 DDR3 RAM - 1866MHz
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 (single for now, eventually cf)
PSU: LSP Ultra 750w
OS: Windows 7 Pro 64bit
along with a 22" Philips monitor displaying at 1920 x 1080 res @ 60hz and 7.1 surround.

Now I havent actually bought the parts yet, but I'm raiding the Tiger Direct store in Vaughn this saturday :pt1cable:
So all suggestions are welcomed! Even more so, compliments :D

I love coming to this forum for answers, so many helpful discussions have made my life easier. I've decided to become part of the discussion instead of just reading from afar.

btw, I'm currently using the HD 5770 and playing BF3 already @ 41fps high, 4fps low :(  BUT the low is rare and the game runs (or atleast looks) amazing for the majority. kudos EA. this game was well done.

anyone else want Origin to byte the dust?

Thats not going to game well .

The graphics card is not strong enough to play at high details and frame rates . I think you could do much better for the money . Read the thread about how to ask for advice
and use that form
