I have just bought this graphics card. But when i play games like Gothic 4, (witch lags btw, around 15-18fps) my card hits 95 degrees. I have read alot about this card, but cant find anything about the temperature at heavy gpu work. So, i took out the card to get a look at it, and something surprised me. I have taken some pictures of my card, to show what it is that i am talking about. It looks like som fluid has been on it, and one of the chips (led?) has been reeealy hot, maby even burned out. Is this normal on cards, or should i return it and get a new one of possible?

That "liquid" you see is residue from the flux washdown when the card was soldered. Most nicer manufacturers wash their cards better after soldering. Cheaper makers give it a "once over" and pack it in the box. It won't hurt anything, it just looks like crap. Is the fan on the card working and running at the correct speed when gaming? What is the ventillation on your system like? 95c is WAY too hot for proper opreation.

Okay, thanks for the answer. Well, i have a 80mm fan "in" on the left bottom 2000rpm, and a 80mm fan "out" 5v (2700rpm) on the back of my computer. The airflow inside reads as 20 degrees, and my cpu is 28 degrees idle, and with intelburntest (while overclocked) it hits 74 degrees. When not overclocked, the cpu dosnt go above 45 degrees. So its actually only my Gpu that runs hot. But guess ill have to send it back then. The noice from this card, when the fan realy starts going, is horrible.. Think im gonna switch to MSI 560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II/OC if the dealer lets me.. Guess its just bad luck with my and my gf cards :) Last time i had to return my 8800gtx also because of the error the first many cards had (also ran hot).
