Can mw3 be played on pc and xbox togeather

I bought call of duty MW3 PC version and an xbox controller, only to find out that the controller was not compatable. I am now considering buying an xbox and would like to know if i can play the PC version on it.

nope it's 2 different discs and the exe for the xbox could not be read on a pc and vice versa. Basically you'll have to buy it for Xbox if you want it on there.
