The first thing i'm looking for is the fan who's the most quiet. I hate to hear sounds from my computer. The PC is in my bedroom and when I sleep I don't want to hear anything :p Beside that, I'd like the one with the best performance cause i'm not looking to OC it... but you never know :p

In brackets, I put the core clock and the memory clock as it seems to be important specs to look at when buying a graphic card. They pretty much has the same price so the price is less important... but still a factor.

Let me know what you think :)

First batch click here for comparisons and specs

1. 159.99 + rebate 10$ = 149.99$ (775 + 1000)
2. 169.99 (800 + 1100)
3. 159.99 (820 + 1050)
4. 174.99 + rebate 10$ = 164.99$ ( 820 + 1100)
5. 174.99 + rebate 20$ = 154.99$ (HD Radeon 6870)

Second batch click here for comparison and specs

1. 164.99$ (775 + 1000)
2. 169.99 + rebate 20$ = 149.99$ (775 + 1000)

Solution
I would rather go for the performance than the silence. You can always after the time get an aftermarket cooler that is quieter.

Agree with you there. Although, he said he wanted a nice quiet GPU so I suggested the HIS IceQ X Turbo.

All up to him tho.

The IceQ is factory overclocked.... it has better performance than the stock 6870. And changing the cooler of a graphic card is not as easy to change a case fan :p

Just curious, do you have a benchmark to prove this? I would like to see that a 6850 OC is better than a 6870.

It would be interesting to find one indeed... ! It is just pure speculation based on the specs of the card !
