Hello guys, I'm planning on disemmbling my Toshiba Satellite P300 laptop to clean it's fan and etc out. I've never done this before but feel confident on everything except the fact that I don't have any anti-static material. I could not find any near my area also so I was wondering if it's ok to go on with this without the use of the anti static mats/wrist bands etc? Note: I work in a tiled place, no carpet or anything. ! Also on another note, when would the best time to do this be to avoid low humidity? Ty

You just need to discharge your self on a grounded object. Touch something metal and you will discharge electricity.

Can you be more specific? Like do I need to be touching metal during the process or touch metal once before the process?

You need to ground your self to a grounded metal object, not just any metal object.
And make sure its nearby, not that you have to walk to it as walking back would/may generate a charge. Ground yourself a few times during your work. And avoid staticy clothing like sweaters. LoL.
