I have an Asus RS-210E Server which can contain 4 harddisks
I put in 4 times 2 Tb Harddisks but it seems the on board s-ata raid controller doesn,t recognize the total capacity of the harddisks; In raid 5 i only get 1,46 Tb useable disk space !!
May be someone can tell me if there is a special controller needed to solve this issue
I heard something about an Linux Live Controller
I also searched for a newer BIOS but the last one is from 2007
I already tried a s-ata controller from Silicon Image which i used a lot in my PC (DS-33102)
However i can make the raid configuration at the start up from the server, but hen i start installing
it doesn't recognize the "S' button after pressing F6 to install the raid-controller drivers.
The "S" button doesn't do anything so the server installation soiftware doesn't see any harddisk configuration and the only possibillity who is left is to shut down and abort the installation.
