How much better is the 2600k than the 2500k

i would like to know how much better the i7 2600k is than the i5 2500k

depends, the 2600 is 8 threads, while the 2500k is only 1 thread per core, all in all not much

2500k is a better price 2600k might be better in 6 years if you overclock it enough but really not any difference just more threads so compatility might be different in a few years but other then that 2500k

2600k does not supersede the 2500k for gaming applications.

Depends on what resolution, the 3960x bottlenecks 2 7970's below 1080P

i will get a 23" 3d monitor 4 this pc so i guess ill use recomended resolution which is 1920 x 1080 so will my pc bottleneck with the 2500k on that resolution with 1 7990 and will it bottleneck with 2???

2 i don't have a very big desk
3 23" isn't that small
4 im using 3D so its as big as it gets
(when i wear the glasses)

There is no point of a 7990 if you are playing at 1080P 1 7950 is plenty for 1080P.

Shouldnt do but as the 7990 is already very capable of playing games at max setting there really isnt any need to have two
