POST failure(ASUS p8z68 v pro, i7 2600k)

Hello,
After I installed my aftermarket cooler(xigmatek aios80dp) I think my CPU has busted. The system's lights and fans spin up just fine, but then they turn off a second later(as the CPU LED comes on). Then it turns on again, but now the DRAM_LED is on.
I'm tempted to say it's the CPU that's gone because of the fact that it's what causes the crash, but I can't be sure.

CPU's rarely have any problems. It's most likely something else. What kind of PSU do you have?

dram light usually means something is wrong with the ram.

if you have 2 sticks, try each one seperately. or try a stick of ram you know i good (another computers stick)

I had a similar problem on my ASUS MB when I switched cases with the DRAM LED. Clear the CMOS by removing the battery on the board for about 30 minutes.
