Can PSU affects the perfomance of GPU?? 12v+ 18amps on GTS 450?

I have FSP 500 watts it has 80+effiency

It has 18amps on 12v+ rail but the GTS 450 requires 22amps??

Or you think my CPU affect my gpu

Intel e5200 2.50ghz
2gb ddr2
1280 by 1024

I read the box and it says DUAL 12v output cirtuits.

so 18+18 = 36amps??? i am right?

It has 2 +12v rails does it not ? Also it has the PCIE cable to plug into the card ? Just read your other post which answers question 1, and no its 33 Amps for technical rail loading issues it cant deliver all 18 Amps to both rails at the same time.

I'm quite sure question 2 is a yes so what's the issue exactly ? Why do you think you have poor performance ?

Yes it has PCIE cable to power my GTS and DUAL 12v so 36amps total? i am right??

So i think my PSU is not the problem i guess my CPU e5200 2.50ghz is bottlenecking the card :)
