Mouse Occasionally Freezes

I just installed windows 7 64 bit over windows vista 32 bit and I deleted windows.old so it's like a new computer, but occasionally my mouse freezes for about a seconds and its really annoying when im running from zombies or trying to shoot someone and i'm stuck. Anybody know the problem? Bad usb port? Bad drivers? I have no clue.

I know this doesn't answer your question, but, how did you do an upgrade. It's not supposed to be possible to upgrade from 32 bit to 64 bit - a clean install is required.

i booted from windows 7 disc and did a custom install, it saved all my 32 bit files which i deleted because they didn't work with 64bit but thats besides the point, i'll just delete this thread since its been 2 days and nobody knows
