Hi. I just updated my Asrock z77 extreme 6 BIOS to 2.40, I also installed a new battery. It is the correct battery. Now my BIOS clock is running at warp speed and I can not stop it. When I change it to correct time, and click apply, it takes off again. I change the time in windows to correct time and it runs fast now too.
I changed the battery yesterday because (before the update) the time and date would reset to a certain time and date every time I started my PC. Also, while my PC is running, after a certain amount of time (3 hours maybe?) It would reset to the previous time and date that it had already incorrectly started at. This caused update problems and game save issues. I am almost certain that all my drivers are up to date for all my components.
Any idea how to rectify this issue?
