Looking for small/light ATX case

As mentioned in the title, I am looking for a small/light ATX gaming case. The reason is that I would like to be able to easily move the PC between the gaming on the couch and programming at a desk.

I currently have a decent single-GPU gaming PC in a Lian Li ATX case with wheels. The case is quality but quite large and hard to move around. I also have a smaller Antec ATX case from a previous build, but even though the case is smaller, it still weighs 18lbs.

The smallest/lightest ATX case I've found so far is the COOLER MASTER Elite 360. It measures 17.30" x 5.80" x 14.20" and weights 9.7lbs, almost half the weight of my smaller case.

I was considering going for a smaller form factor, but I have an ATX ASROCK Z68 motherboard that I'd rather not have to replace.

Thanks for any tips! :)

  2. I own the storm scout it is easy to move around but it does weigh a little with everything in it. Then again I could be a weakling LOL
  3. I wanted something cheap, not a mini, but still very small and portable. Settled on a Cooler Master TC-102 Mid ATX HD Audio w/500W PSU Black (TC-102-KKN1) for $30.

It's way smaller than most mid towers and has 6 fan slots supporting (2)140mm + (4)120mm fans - If you include my PSU I have seven 120s in here. Temps are fantastic.

Specs: 7.08 x 16.1 x 13.77 inches at 8.8 pounds - It's no more than 15 with it all together - 2x front usb ports - It's simple and effective, only complaint would be the lack of cable management since it lacks a port out the back panel. Nothing some creative zip tie work can't fix :D

  4. No vote for the Elite 360? It is available locally.

The Bitfenix looks pretty awesome, but it's too bad it is twice the cost of other cases. I've seen the Storm Scout, and while a nice case, it is a little too big even with handles. The Elite 430 looks more like what I had in mind, thanks for the suggestions.

That looks like the sort of case I'm looking for. Sadly I can only find the case on Micro Center with $17 shipping! Micro Center also lists the weight as 13lbs, but that could be with the power supply weight as well.
