[SOLVED] P4 12V To PWM Fans

I need help getting more airflow into my Small Form Factor Case. Its a low profile PCI-E case. So it doesn't have alot of room. I'm basically converting an old eMachine into a server, and cooling would be a big issue because of the Phenom Quad Core inside of it is generating alot of heat.

My PSU has one extra P4 12V EPS connector. I was wondering how I could convert this for case Fans.
I don't know much about PSU's but I want to either convert this into a 4-Pin Molex or PWM connectors for either a "low profile pci-e fan controller" or "direct PWM fan power."

I'm looking for suggestions on how to get this done?

You could just get a $25 fan controller that fits in a 5.25 inch drive bay and is powered by 1 molex connector to control and power all of your fans.

I was thinking the same thing. Do you know how to convert the P4-12V EPS to a 4-Pin Molex

I don't think such cable exists, wouldn't that cable have to plug into your motherboard? I think a fan controller would still be a better idea.

You likely have other molex cables so some splitters would probably be easier to work with. I know there are cables to go from 2 molex to 1 4 pin, but i don't think that they make adapters to go back since the molex cable also has a red 5 V line that the 4 pin ATX connector does not.

Cause this is a special PSU, for this Small Form Factor Case. It only came with 2 SATA, 1 P4-12V, an2d a 20+4 Pin, So I somehow need to convert one of the 4Pins?

You can get a SATA to molex converter to give you some molex connectors to work with.

You will probably also need a couple more sata connections so you can use some splitters on the SATA cables to get a few more, you can use either type of cable below, it just depends on if you want to have the right angle connector at the end.
