dude if i were you i will go on sandybridge processor. even it is more higher in price, you will get more benefits like lower wattage and faster performance.

AMD consumes more wattage and generates more heat. also poorer in gaming performance even the hex core of AMD has been defeated by the intel i3 2100 in gaming performance in some benchmarks.

Problem is, it's either i3+H61 or Phenom x4+AM3+. H61 won't support ivy bridge which = dead chipset. At higher resolutions GPU has more effect on performance. Compare the June SMB and September SMB. i3-2100 + 6850 < Phenom II x4 + 6870. Phenom also did better in multithreaded apps because it has 4 physical cores vs 2 physical w/ 2 logical.
