Refer to the title, I tried to put this build together as it is my first time.
Specs: Gigabyte GTX 550 Ti
Intel i5 2500k
Mobo- Asus P8H61-M LE CSM
Corsair (2x2GB) 4GB
Seagate Barracudaa 500GB
Corsair Builder CX500 500W
COOLER MASTER HAF 912 RC-912-KKN1 Black SECC/ ABS Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Intel Core i5-2500 Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2000 BX80623I52500
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When I turn on my computer, the mobo light turns on, but everything seems not to work at all. I had just received these parts two days ago. The front and back fan of the case seems to work. Just the cpu and the graphics card doesn't seem to run at all. Any solutions?

Take out the board and breadboard it, or use a cardboard box. Just the cpu/heatsink, one stick of ram, keyboard, and onboard video. I connect the power supply leads (24 pin and 4-8 pin 12v by the cpu), then touch the case connector pins with a plain screwdriver. Move the screwdriver around the pins until it fires up.

+1 for an external power-on.

Make sure your CPU fan is plugged in to CPU_Fan NOT CHA_Fan. Don't connect the video card yet.

If you're not comfortable jump starting it, at least double check your fan connections and try it first without the video card in it.
