About a year ago, I bought a PC from iBuyPower, and with it was an AMD Phenom II X6 1100t CPU. Most recently, I have been wanting to make the leap to Intel, specifically to an i5 3570, but I realize that I would have to change my mobo and, consequentially do a fresh install of Windows 7.

The problem is that my current version of Windows 7 is OEM-locked, but iBuyPower did issue me a reinstallation DVD; would I be able to use this for my new mobo, or would I have to purchase another copy of Windows? To anyone who has been in this dilemma or would have any knowledge on the matter, any help is appreciated, thanks!

Yeah but it's OEM locked; correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't things not work properly if I changed my motherboard?
