Cheap system with Radeon 6950

Hey guys, can you guys help me build a cheap system for gaming based on the xfx radeon 6950 1gb?
I already bought a psu (750w), HDD, and a DVD drive, so all i need is a monitor, case, motherboard, RAM, and cpu. Is this asking for too much?

  1. What's cheap? $400? $500? $600? Is your HDD sata 2 or 3?

Most budget game builds use the i3-2100 cpu.

My budget for the rest of the parts is $650.
Hoping to get a radeon 6950 in there, but doesn't have to have it.

  4. I already have a case (rosewill smart one) and windows 7. Is an AMD 4100 better than an i3? Or should I stick with Vargas64's build?
  5. Maybe I can switch the i5 for an i3?
