DVI-HDMI adapter

I need to use the video card I use for DVD/TV viewing. I use the HDMI on the card for video and sound. The replacement card only has 2 dvi connectors. If I use a dvi to hdmi adapter will it still channel sound or not ? Thanks.

What is the make/model of your replacement video card? Most llikely, the answer is NO (to your original question).

BTW, if not supported, you can always connect your on-board sound to the speaker jack on the back of most HDTVs.
