And a good psu from corsair, antec, seasonic etc.

What price did you come up with for the items below?

I realize you are picking multiple sites to order from to save $5 here or $10 there but it is normally best to order from the same site as discounts and combos kick in which will save you money on both product and shipping.

Thanks guys. I tried to put together the price of the parts that you (zhongyan) suggested with the rest of the needed components and it went a bit high for my budget. For the build that I had originally posted I found all the parts on Newegg and it came out to $651 and I was hoping not to very much higher in price than that (I want a price slightly above or below 700). Will this computer that be good for gaming or work at all?

All of these parts have very high ratings. This is a good price and will definately get you gaming. You have some room to upgrade if you wish. I hope this helps.

If you are an AMD type of person you may want to Sub the GTX550ti for a HD6850 or spend a little extra and go for the HD6870.

I would also recommend an After Market CPU heatsink as the stock ones really are not that good.
May want to try the Cooler Master Hyper for $19 with FREE shipping
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103064
It is not necessary but it is nice to have plus I think they are easier to mount than the stock coolers.
