Hello again people, thank you for checking my post.

I've been upgrading my computer and before I go any further I will list my current specs.

Case: Fractal Arc Midi
PSU: Corsair HX 750W
CPU: I5-3570k
Mother Board: ASROCK Extreme4 Z77 full ATX
Graphics: MSI HAWK 7870
Ram: 4GB GSKILL
Windows 7 Ultimate x64

So with that being said I am in the market for new RAM. I'm going to go for 16GB and I think I've decided on 2x8 ((Please post if you think its worth getting 4x4))

I've been looking at Corsair Vengence and I've came across these two packs.

Now the first one I posted is on sale and cheaper at the moment and I can't decide between the two since the timing just seems werid to me on the first one 9-10-9-27

I don't know ANYTHING about RAM so I thought I would come here and get enlightened :D

If you think I would be better off with another brand or whatever please post your recommendations for RAM money is not a issue but I'm not diving to corsair platinum for 300$ haha.

Anyways thank you again!!

Solution
Ram is like this.

DDR3 <Revision speed

1066/1333/1600/1866/2000/2300 < mhz, the overall speed, kinda like GHz on a proc

CAS 9-9-9-15 < Latency, the lower the number, the faster the data transfer.

Mainstream memory example

Stock memory:

4GB DDR3 1333 @ 9-9-9-15

Gaming memory

8GB DDR3 1600 @ 7-7-7-14

Hope it helps.

Also, the Ripjaws X series is a good DDR3 kit.

Based on budget,

I'd recomend ANY of the following

Corsair Dominator 1600/1866/2000 mhz
Corsair Vengance 1600/1866/2000 mhz
G.Skill Ripjaws 1600/1866/2000 mhz
Patriot Viper 3 1600/1866/2000 mhz

Really, any of these are the BEST that I know of. And what you pay for, is what you get, higher mhz, is more speed.
