Trying to connect my Dell U2711 to my new i5 2405s / zotac Z68 8G ram on HDMI but then I relaize it seems only support 1920x1080 resolution.

any thing higher seems not supported.

ANy one know what is the maximum display resolution support by this Intel Chip set?

Do I need a just display port cable or a NV or ATI display card to get it up to 2550x1440?

Thanks

for getting it to work at the right resolution.
if you have windows 7 you can right click on the desktop and click screen resolution. then click the resolution dropdown and crack it up. if its not available there check the intel graphics driver software for its res changing section.

you monitor might need a driver installed. windows update generally find these but you can check dells website.

if you cant get anything from those ideas try a different type of cable they are crazy cheap from monoprice.com
