I recently purchase a refurbished gateway all in one touchscreen (zx4951-33e) and hoped to upgrade it with a low profile tv tuner card. I wanted to mount this thing on the wall and use as an interactive tv so I prefer an internal card. The motherboard has a pci-e x1 slot, but a standard half height low profile card bracket is too tall by about 3/4 of an inch. I need a card with a bracket of about 2 1/4 or maybe 2 3/8 height. I've reviewed what I can find online about the low profile card specification and ALL have the same 3.118" card bracket height. Is there a new smaller spec for pci-express cards that use about a 2 3/8 height card bracket or is this something proprietary just for these all in one's?

you'll probably have to go external USB and hide it somewhere,,or get a special PCI-e ribbon to make the card fit,, although it won't sit right inside the case,,,
