Well guys, my current pc is a Gigabyte MA785GPM7-UD2H, AMD Phenom II 955, 4GB G-Skill, a 550 Coolermaster PSU, and carrying a 5770 Sapphire GPU.

My intentions are to upgrade to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 GPU, but now I'm worried that it won't fit, probably because of the SATA connectors. The case is just fine, but according to pictures it looks like the card i bigger than the motherboard itself.

Any help, please?
Thanks in advance

But that's is not my motherboard, is it?

Mine is actually this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/ImageGallery.aspx?CurImage=13-128-394-S03&ISList=13-128-394-S01,13-128-394-S02,13-128-394-S03,13-128-394-S04,13-128-394-S05&S7ImageFlag=1&Item=N82E16813128394&Depa=0&WaterMark=1&Description=GIGABYTE%20GA-MA785GM-US2H%20AM3/AM2+/AM2%20AMD%20785G%20HDMI%20Micro%20ATX%20AMD%20Motherboard&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-RSSDailyDeals-_-na-_-na&AID=10521304&PID=4176827&SID=wgmlsmcoz85c

See the SATA slots? Will I have trouble with those?

Oeps, sorry for that, didn't look right then. ( should go to bed ; it's late over here ) And looking at yours, yes you will have a problem with that card, it's longer than a standard one and i'm pretty sure a normal one would almost touch the sata's. I have had a gigabyte 560 ti soc, it's a bit longer than a normal 560 but not as long as the 570 and that one is two times the lenght of the pcie slot so the gigabyte 560 would touch the satas allready a bit. The 570 looks like two times pcie plus 2 or 3 centimeters. ( and thats where the satas are )

Ok thanks for your answer

Could you recommend a good (but still not that expensive) motherboard for the 570 I want to get? Has to be AM3
