Audio Issues Please Help

P8Z68 V/Gen3

For the past couple of months my computer hasn't been able to play audio. I look in playback devices but it says "speakers not plugged in". I can clearly see that they are plugged in. Also my front panel audio ports won't work either.

I've tried updating every driver I can think of including:

Chipset
Audio
Motherboard
BIOS

Any ideas? From what I can tell everything seems to be in the right place

do you see the realtek panel and you speaker are plug in the the ouptut line green on the back also do the need to be powered with a ac connetor ?
