  1. This refers to the TDP of the CPUs supported. For example:

    FMB 05B = 130W

    FMB 05A = 95W

    Essentially, this means the motherboard supports up to 95w CPUs.

    What motherboard are you considering and what CPU to go in it?
  2. I am looking for a mobo to support an Intel Q6700 Core 2 Quad rated at 105W. I was really interested in what "FMB" stood for. I am not having any luck finding a mobo that support more than a 95Watt CPU. Thank you for the help.
