More about good
  1. It's an outstanding PSU. It's a 750W PSU - not 850W. What are your system specs?

How did you test the PSU to make sure it was defective? What were your indications that the PSU was faulty?
  2. Yes it is a very good PSU!
  3. A very nice PSU to be perfectly honest, 80+ gold rated from a very well known brand. There are alternatives which would yeald results almost as good at a much cheaper price but if you have the money then id get it :-)

    these r my specs

    cooler master haf x case
    asrock z68 extreme7 mobo
    intel i5 2550k cpu
    noctua nh-d14 cpu cooler
    amd radeon hd 7970
    g.skill ripjaws x series 8gb ram
1.5tb western digital caviar black hhd
    intel 520 cherryville ssd
lg black 12x bd-rom optical drive

and here are the usb devices i use

    tp-link tl-wn722n wireless adapter
    logitech g19 gaming keyboard
    cyborg r.a.t. 7 mouse
creative sound blaster tactic3d wireless headset
    logitech z130 5w speakers
    advanced g-13 gamepad
  5. A 750W or 850W of that PSU is great....a 550W would run a single 7970.
  6. yes but when it comes out i am putting a 7990 in it (dont want 2 have to buy a second psu)
  7. I would go a size up then and get 800-850watt!
