If you go to MicroCenter, you can get a Caviar Black 500GB Sata3 (6Gb/s) for only 10 dollars more.

I personally prefer the Catalyst Control Center for AMD video cards, and they provide a great interface for easily overclocking the VC and CPU with little worries. So go with the Phenom II X4 970BE.

ALSO if you goto MicroCenter they offer $40 off any AMD compatible motherboard with purchase of a 970BE.

Corsair XMS3 DDR3-1600 4GB CL9 dimm at MC is only $27.99.

Case is kind of boring, with these savings though you could probably afford a good one...

Samsung DVD+/-RW 22x SATA is $17.99

How long are you gonna bwe before you get a gfx card?
