Can anyone suggest best LGA775 DDR3 SLI supported MB ???

Wish to run q6600 with ddr3 and 8800gtx in SLI mode ...

EVGA 790i FTW or Asus striker 2.

You need something on one of the nvidia chipsets to support SLI. Look for 750i, 780i and 790i.
None of intel chipsets supports SLI, only CF.
