Does my soundcard support Dolby Digital Live

Hi,

I just bought myself a pair of Turtle Beach DPX21's for my PC.
What I would like to know is if my on board sound card supports Dolby Digital Live, and how can I activate it?
The headphones support 7.1/5.1 surround sound through the SPDIF, but only through Dolby Digital.
